PM Tools – The Frame

How you ask a question has a lot to do with the answer that you get. This concept is well known to those who ask questions for a living – pollsters, attorneys, investigators, reporters, and the like. The concept suggests an important tool in the project manager’s toolbox – the Frame.

“Chunking” – A Key Project Management Skill

A wise colleague of mine, who specializes in IT governance issues, observed at breakfast the other day that “Chunking” was a key project management skill.

By “Chunking”, my friend Don means that activity done in the pre-project phase in which the prospective project is divided into “chunks” that are digestible by the IT organization, or the enterprise as a whole.

For Inclusion - Think like a Hound Dog
